Walid Oueslati
Head of Environment, Transition and Resilience Division, OECD
Walid Oueslati is acting as head of Environment, Transitions and Resilience Division. Before taking this role, he was working as a senior economist at the OECD Environment Directorate. He was previously a full professor of Environmental Economics at Agrocampus, University of Angers (France) and a visiting professor at Newcastle University (UK). Â
Walid Oueslati holds a PhD degree in economics from the University of Paris - Nanterre (France). He has extensive research and research management experience across a number of fields in environmental policy and economics, ranging from pure academic to policy supporting research. He published over fifty scientific articles in refereed journals, policy reports, textbooks and several conferences.Â
