Daniel has 28 years of experience as a registered architect and sustainability professional and has worked on major urban development and global event programmes over the last 13 years. Outside of his role at Expo 2020 Dubai he is senior director of Global Sustainability & Climate Response at Jacobs. He has served in several Director level roles with responsibility for design, master planning, sustainability and innovation on award-winning projects and major programmes, including the Singapore Innovation Center, the Masdar City programme, the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup programme, and the Expo 2020 Dubai programme.
Recently he has worked with experts from across sectors to develop an approach to decarbonization at a city scale that addresses a range of challenges that cities face, including reducing and removing carbon emissions, and making cities more livable, equitable, and resilient.
