Since October 2021, Veronika Bienert has led the global business conducted by Siemens Financial Services (SFS), the financing arm of Siemens, as its first female CEO. She assumed the role with the objective of making financing a clearly visible distinguishing feature of the technology group’s transformation.     

She previously served for five years as CFO of SFS, a position in which she oversaw the areas of risk and finance around the world. During her more than 25-year career at Siemens, she has held a range of management positions in which she gained extensive international experience in the automotive, automation and transport technology industries as well as financial services – including the position of first female CFO of a Siemens division and Country CFO for Russia and Central Asia.     

Veronika Bienert is passionate about combining technology with targeted financing in order to achieve a sustainable future for customers and for society. She is inspired both by her cross-sector and multicultural work and by combining different perspectives and breaking existing patterns.
