Dr. Emi Minghui Gui leads initiatives and programs in energy system decarbonization, electricity sector transition, and net zero energy planning, focusing on Southeast Asia and Australia at Climateworks Centre, within Monash Sustainable Development Institute.Â
She is an energy transition and decentralized energy system expert, focusing on system-level transformative solutions and knowledge collaboration to strengthen the links between energy and climate, just transition and sustainable development.Â
She is a member of the Council of Engineers for the Energy Transition (CEET) – an independent advisory body to the UN Secretary-General. She is also a fellow at the Montpellier Advanced Knowledge Institute on Transitions (MAK’IT).Â
