Aimée Christensen

Founder and CEO, Christensen Global

Aimée Christensen is CEO of Christensen Global where she advises climate innovators, business, finance and multilateral institutions, including Aleph Farms, Duke Energy, Microsoft, the Russell Family Foundation and Virgin. During 30 years in climate, she’s been Climate Maven at Google, an attorney at the World Bank and Baker & McKenzie, and policymaker at the White House and U.S. Department of Energy. Christensen negotiated the first U.S. bilateral and regional climate agreements (U.S.-Costa Rica, et. al., 1994-1997), drafted the first-ever university endowment climate investment policy (Stanford University, 1999), guided Google’s carbon neutrality commitment and first climate solutions project (2006-07), was founding Program Chair of World Climate Summit (2010-11), and served as Senior Adviser to the UN Secretary General’s High-level Group on Sustainable Energy For All (2012). She founded the Sun Valley Institute for Resilience and Sun Valley Forum and graduated from Smith College and Stanford Law School.
