Harvey Locke is a nature conservationist, writer, and photographer who is a recognized global leader in the field of parks, large landscape conservation and the interface between nature and the climate. He is co-founder of the Yellowstone to Yukon Conservation Initiative, the global Nature Needs Half Movement, and the Nature Positive Global Goal for Nature. He received an Honourary Doctorate from the University of Calgary and is a Fellow of the China Institute at the University of Alberta and of the Royal Canadian Geographic Society.
