Aluminium has been at the forefront of many industrial and engineering innovations of the 20th century and continues to power a sustainable future. Sustainably meeting growing demand is a challenge for the entire value chain, and the aluminium industry is committed to finding the solutions needed to reduce the carbon intensity of the metal.
For many decades, the International Aluminium Institute - the global forum for the aluminium industry, has provided robust and transparent data, modelling, and analyses to assist the industry and other stakeholders in making informed decisions and implementing actions to reduce emissions. This commitment to sharing credible data, insights and sustainable pathways for the sector continues today.
This panel explored the various collaborative initiatives supporting decarbonisation across the industry with a focus on actions to accelerate progress, key levers and how different stakeholders play a crucial role in delivering a sustainable metal.
