Emmanuel Nyirinkindi is currently the Vice President of Cross-Cutting Solutions at International Finance Corporation – a role to which he brings over 25 years of experience in infrastructure and private sector development at the private and public sector. In his current position, he oversees operational teams providing cross-cutting services globally, including public-private partnerships, corporate finance, sustainability and gender solutions, and climate. He also champions IFC’s approach to creating investable opportunities in emerging markets in partnership with regional and industry teams and collaboration with the World Bank. Above all, he ensures that climate, gender and best practice in environmental and social responsibility are embedded in IFC operational work, including early design of projects and programs.
Prior to his current role Emmanuel served as IFC’s Global Director for Transaction Advisory Services (Corporate Financial Services and Public-Private Partnerships).
He holds an MBA from the University of Kansas and a Bachelor of Commerce Degree Makerere University in Uganda.
