Sirin Stav is Vice Mayor for Environment and Transport, in the city of Oslo. She belongs to the Green Party, and was an elected representative in the city council before becoming Vice Mayor. In the city council, Sirin Stav led the Environment and Transport Committee and was group leader for the Green Party. Sirin Stav has a background in geography and city planning. She went into politics to change the unfair distribution of space and resources in the city as well as globally, and to be an ombudsman for those without voices – children, animals and nature.
