Event Venue
Located in the heart of Sharm el-Sheikh, Park Regency offers a magnificent view of the Red Sea. It is located only 10 minutes by car from the official COP27 Blue Zone and 15 minutes from Sharm el-Sheikh International Airport.
World Climate Summit will be held in the hotel’s spacious and classic conference facilities on 13-14 November.
As our guest, you can join us for an exciting and action-packed two-day event with opportunities to listen to insightful discussions in The Grand Ballroom and Regency Rooms or enjoy a cup of coffee on the sunny terrasse while overlooking the Garden’s Bay and Sinai Mountains.
How To Get There
Arriving by bus or on foot
We recommend attendees to take the official shuttle bus green route SH6. The World Climate Foundation has arranged for minivans to drive our attendees between SH6 Shuttle drop-off point and the lobby of the Park Regency Resort. Please see the map for more details.
The vans will depart approximately every 5 minutes and will be operating 8.00 AM - 8.00 PM (EET) on Sunday the 13th and on Monday the 14th of November.
We advise all delegates travelling by bus to arrive on site early to allow some extra time for transportation from the drop-off point to the lobby.
Arriving by car/taxi
Please enter the Park Regency Resort via the Main Entrance. Vehicles will pull up to the security gate for security checks which may include dog searches around the car.
Guests might be asked why they are attending the Park Regency, please let security know you are joining the World Climate Summit and show your confirmation email and your government-issued ID.
Once security checks are completed, guests' vehicles will be invited to drive up to the hotel lobby.
Safety & Security
Attendees will be checked by the Park Regency Resort Security and asked to present their confirmation email and government-issued ID. After access to the Park Regency Resort has been granted, please follow the directional signs, leading to the official World Climate Summit Registration point, where the second verification will happen.
Please note that access to the event will be granted only to registered delegates. If you forgot to register, you can do so on-site or here as we keep our registration open until the event is over.
If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or have tested positive, please do not attend the event.
Practical Tips
World Climate Summit is recognised as one of the biggest COP side events, therefore, queues are expected. We advise our attendees to join us on-site ahead of time to fully enjoy their days at the Summit. Coffee, tea and snacks will be prepared for you to enjoy and allow some time for networking.
During the Summit, pictures and recordings will be taken and performed. Please be aware that the Summit is being live-streamed and digital footage is shared on our channels during and after the event.
