COP27 in 2022 fell short of delivering urgently needed tangible action on reducing greenhouse gas emission and showed that relying solely on governments to solve the climate puzzle is insufficient. This year’s COP 28 focus is on the Global Stock Take (GST), to drive the Paris Agreement’s ambition cycle towards net-zero targets.
